    19 weeks pregnant

Have you noticed them yet, that stripe on your belly? It was always there but is only now showing up thanks to pregnancy hormones.

    week 18 💕 week 20

    your baby,
a listening ear and tactile movements

    19 weeks pregnant

Your baby's hearing is fully developed at this time and he will be able to listen to your voice and that of your partner even after birth. This provides a wonderful opportunity to talk to your belly , creating a bond with your baby early on.

At the same time, your little one's sense of touch is also better developed, allowing him to feel movements and possibly become extra active in response.

Your baby's arms and legs have now reached proper proport ions, with the development of real bones and improved nerve connections. This progress allows your baby to gain more control over his movements, which is an exciting milestone in his growth and development.

Cravings, especially for sweets, may become more intense. Try to bring in healthy alternatives to control these cravings.

You may also be experiencing calf cramps. Stretch your legs and massage them for relief. A warm compress and short walks may also help.

About 75% of pregnant women develop a stretch mark across their abdomen. This is normal and is caused by increased pigment production during pregnancy. The stripe disappears after delivery.
