history
Our story is steeped in the adventure of motherhood. As a young mom, founder Sonia Pypaert followed her maternal heart and created a dream for future parents: a baby store where families have been shining for over 28 years. Here, everything is about sustainable, safe and quality collections.

25 years the baby's corner
A quarter century full of baby happiness. An anniversary is usually a moment of reflection on what is behind you, but not for us. We want to contribute to nest warmth, to children growing up strong and happy and to the lasting softness of every mother's heart. So that is what we are celebrating this year.
2019
online dream lists
Baby happiness is of all times and yet we are moving with the times as we launch in 2019 our online birth list tool where expectant parents can create their dream list and share it with their family and friends, babyfunding with a big smile.

2002
additional manpower
Geert, Sonia's husband, joins the company and becomes co-manager. That same year, the store and warehouse continue to expand.
1999
first extension
The first expansion was a reality. The store soon proved too small. Therefore, it was expanded by 600m².
1996
opening baby's corner
In August 1996, the store opens its doors. Sonia starts in part of her parents' superette and a connecting new building. With an area of 365m², an assortment is offered for baby and child up to 6 years old.
1971
the superette
At the store's current location, manager Sonia Pypaert's parents started a butchery and general food store "Superette Pypaert" in 1971. When Sonia's parents approached retirement age, there was no immediate succession. Until, in 1995, Sonia had the idea of starting a specialized store in baby products and children's clothing.
